{"id":32,"date":"2006-09-10T23:24:33","date_gmt":"2006-09-10T23:24:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jakestapleton.com\/wordpress\/2006\/09\/10\/no-i-am-not-dead\/"},"modified":"2006-09-10T23:24:33","modified_gmt":"2006-09-10T23:24:33","slug":"no-i-am-not-dead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jakestapleton.com\/stapletonfamily\/2006\/09\/10\/no-i-am-not-dead\/","title":{"rendered":"No I am not dead!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Greetings &#038; Salutations Faithful Stapleton Blog Readers!<\/p>\n<p>Just wanted to sum up the remodeling efforts on the new Stapleton Mansion<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Home Depot Sucks!<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Boy that is a lot of paint.<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">No apparently my electrical      tester does not work that would account for my new perm.<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Yes honey the house is a      little behind, but my garage does look fantastic doesn&#8217;t it.<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">60 sheets of drywall and 150      studs!\u00c2\u00a0 My O My<\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Your time table gets put in perspective when you are delivered a pallet of drywall mud to finish the drywall that you intend to hang.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I have been working a lot on the house, between that and work I am about dead.\u00c2\u00a0 So that would account for the staleness of the blog.<\/p>\n<p>I have been getting a lot of help on the house from my painting crew (Jess&#8217;s mom &#038; her step dad Rick) and also my technical consultant (Jess&#8217;s Dad).\u00c2\u00a0 There is no way I could be as far along as I am without their help.\u00c2\u00a0 Things are moving along at a good clip considering we are doing the work.\u00c2\u00a0 I have accepted a fall back position from my original plans to accommodate our moving date.\u00c2\u00a0 The basement will not be completed by our move in, but I hope to have everything accomplished by November 12th.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 As for the kitchen that is anyone\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s guess we cancelled the order with Home Depot for our cabinets.\u00c2\u00a0 I just finally had enough of them not giving us any service worth a crap and we are exploring other vendors at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Well I am heading to bed everyone have a great week!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Greetings &#038; Salutations Faithful Stapleton Blog Readers!
