Since this is the first new Star Trek series in 12 years I feel a review is in order.
- Starfleet uniforms | Awful
- Special EFX | Awesome
- Story Potential | There, but undeterminedÂ
- Writing | Good
- Klingons only in subtitle | now come on!
- New Klingon Wardrobe? | Seriously, Samurai Dresses, really?
- Redesign of the Klingon Bat’leth? | That’s just heresy!

I’ve stopped watching, this is not Star Trek to me, its a modern TV show and that’s probably ok for most people. Â This is gritty and lacks the uplifting parts of Star Trek. Â As I said its a very modern TV show and I may just be getting very set in my ways.
This is just not my Star Trek.
